Oh weren’t the early 00s so splendid in all its popstar glory?
If you’ll cast your mind back to 1999, Britney and Justin – who were pop idols in their own right after meeting on the set of The All New Mickey Mouse Club as kids – were THE celebrity couple.
It really didn’t get better than these two, especially when they went and donned matching double-denim…
It all came to an end in 2002 when their high profile relationship hit the skids among accusations Brits cheated on the NSYNC star.
To remind us of what once was, though, now-28-year-old Zoey 101 star Jamie Lynn has shared an image to Instagram of a young Jamie chilling with Natalie Portman, 38, and Britney, 38, and Timberlake, 38, who were getting cosy on the couch with their famous mates.
‘Nothing like childhood memories….,’ Jamie Lynn, who would have been about 10 at the time, captioned the star-studded snap, as she added: ‘Flashback Friday.’
To make things even more nostalgic (if that was possible), it appeared they were all chilling at the launch party of Britney’s 2001 album Britney. Just think back to those bangers I’m A Slave 4 U and Overprotected.
People wondered if there was a spot of shade thrown the way of JT though, seeing as Jamie Lynn went so far as to tag not only Natalie and Britney, but even the account that originally posted the professional shot – but not Justin himself.
One fan wrote: ‘You forgot to tag Justin❤️ 😂,’ as another added: ‘Mood: not tagging Justin 😂😭.’
The photo was taken back when it was a happier time, a simpler time.

Brit and Justin’s relationship came to a halt and the boyband member went on to write one of his most banging hits Cry Me A River, said to be about their split.
Britney denied cheating, sort of, as she once told Diane Sawyer of the allegations: ‘I’m not technically saying he’s wrong but I’m not technically saying he’s right either.’
