Oscar winner, mother, all-round glamazon…
Charlize Theron is all of those things but really, she is just like us. Because she, too, feels the inescapable pull of The Bachelor.
The Monster actress had a proper fangirling moment in anticipation of the ABC dating competition’s new series.
She shared a snap of herself smouldering in front of a poster of this year’s leading man, Peter Weber, on Instagram and wrote: ‘Turbulence I like.’
Her caption refers to this season’s ‘expect turbulence’ tagline – because Peter is a pilot, obviously.
We bet he’s flying high after seeing that Instagram (sorry).
And Charlize isn’t the only reality TV fan, with January Jones also declaring her excitement at the imminent dating drama.
‘Omg!!! I can. Not. Wait,’ she declared in the comments.
Chazza hasn’t been seriously vocal about her Bachelor obsession, previously admitting she engineers her Monday nights specifically around the show.
‘I basically feel like I’m dating The Bachelor, like the show,’ Charlize said on The Late Late Show With James Corden in 2018.
She revealed she puts her children August and Jackson to bed early so she can have an evening of pure, unadulterated scripted TV.
‘On Monday nights, because my kids can’t read a clock yet, so I just get them to bed at like 5:45, and then I open a bottle of wine, take a bath, get all ready, and then I watch The Bachelor. And that’s my date night,’ she explained.

The actress, who is currently starring in the drama Bombshells, is such a massive fan she even waded in on last year’s controversial finale, which saw Arie Luyendyk Jr. break off his engagement to Becca Kufrin for runner-up, Lauren Burnham.
‘She is so much better off!’ Charlize retorted on Watch What Happens Live. ‘Literally, he not impressive. Not impressed with him at all.’
‘I think she’s going to be great, and she’s fun. I think she handled the whole thing so well too, because that was the most awkward watching experience of my life. It was just brutal. And she kept it together and had integrity about it, and he just looked like a f**king d**k!’
That’s all well and good but Charlize… what do you really think?
