Weeks after the former EastEnders star had taken the crown, she admitted that Good Morning Britain presenter Kate and co-star had been so nice while living Down Under it was verging on being ‘painful’.
Jacqueline made the revelation as the pair joined Alan Carr on his chat show Celebrity Re-Play, where he pushed for tea from the jungle.
Alan probed: ‘Now listen, I watched and you were all so nice to each other. She [Kate] must have turned at some point?’
Jacqueline earnestly replied: ‘No it was very painful. She was too nice.’
Kate added: ‘I got on her nerves.’
‘She said sorry about everything,’ Jacqueline continued, to which Kate jokingly apologised for.
Jacqueline was named champion of the 2019 series of I’m A Celebrity, beating the likes of Roman Kemp and Andy Whyment to the top spot in a nail-biting finale.
The mum-of-two confessed just two weeks ago that she’s already ruined her jungle crown, telling Roman on his radio show that it ‘died’.
She continued: ‘I had to give back the sceptre thing.’

Since her win, it’s been reported that Jacqueline has been ‘flooded with television offers’ including the likes of Loose Women and This Morning.
A source close to the star said: ‘Jacqueline has also been inundated with telly opportunities but she’s biding her time and wants to concentrate on landing some more serious roles in the New Year.’
The insider added to The Sun: ‘She’s hoping to continue her career in serious drama and is attending castings.’
Alan Carr’s Celebrity Re-Play is available to stream on the ITV Hub.
