Kanye West grateful Sunday Service ‘saved his life’ forcing him to ditch porn and drugs

Kanye West was in a reflective mood this weekend as he celebrated the first anniversary of his Sunday Service, and credits the so-called church for ‘saving’ him from a life of porn and drugs.

The All Of The Lights rapper quietly launched the church service exclusively for close friends and family, including wife Kim Kardashian and mother-in-law Kris Jenner.

But it quickly gathered momentum and has seen the likes of Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Justin Bieber among the A-listers flocking to the services every Sunday.

In celebration of its one-year anniversary, Kanye brought the Sunday Service choir to the Union Rescue Mission in downtown Los Angeles yesterday where he delivered a heartfelt sermon explaining how the movement has changed him over the past year.

‘A lot of times, people say, “Thank you, Ye, for Sunday Service”,’ Kanye said at the homeless shelter on Skid Row.

The All Of The Lights rapper quietly launched the church service exclusively for close friends and family, including wife Kim Kardashian and mother-in-law Kris Jenner.

Kanye, 42, went on to address the serious homelessness issue in Los Angeles and continued: ‘We had no idea we would be here on the 52nd week but I promised.

‘I definitely saw a strong, compelling vision with the homeless problem. And I know that we can find a solution, worldwide solution.’

He added: ‘Someone asked me, “When you sitting at the Christmas party talking to Elon Musk – shameless namedrop – what do y’all talk about?” Well, this is what we need to be talking about, are these solutions.’

The reformed rapper then seemed to back T.I. following his recent controversy after revealing he takes his daughter to the gynaecologist to check her hymen is still intact.

‘They tried to play T.I., but he’s talking about something that’s God-approved,’ Ye said.

‘It’s 30 states that still got the death penalty. Thou shall not kill. But, we be cool with that.’

It’s true that Sunday Service has changed Kanye from the impulsive outspoken character he was just a couple of years ago.
