Gavin And Stacey fans are hungry for the show to return in some way shape or form following the hugely successful Christmas special.
While audiences have been putting on the pressure for a series four by launching online petitions, cast member Larry Lamb has planted seeds for a film.
The actor, who plays Mick Shipman in the BBC comedy, revealed that he wants to see the hit comedy launch on the big screen, and you know what, we’re here for it.
‘To me, I always think the logical thing to do would be to make a film of it,’ Larry admitted.
‘I think the audience in Britain is so ready for it that they would go to the ends of the Earth to go and see a movie of it. I mean, imagine those characters?’
He added to The Mirror: ‘It’s so much larger than life now, it’s a national treasure.’
The Gavin and Stacey Christmas special was a hit with fans and raked in the biggest overnight Christmas Day ratings since 2008.
That’s right, 11.48 million viewers tuned in to see the return of the Shipmans, the Wests and the Sutcliffes, with figures peaking at 12.3 million.
