Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles season 12 mainly focuses on life after the Californian wildfires, but the series will also reveal the early effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
And as fans wait to hear if the show is coming back for a 13th season, David Parnes reveals some of the changes the show’s stars have had to be make due to coronavirus.
The reality star also hints at how life post-Covid-19 may cause lasting adjustments to how the show is filmed.
Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, he stated: ‘We have been making changes every week as things start opening up again.
‘We are allowed to do a fair amount of work. Naturally, we’re very, very, very cautious and observant of the rules.’
The savvy businessman continued: ‘We wear face masks, gloves and for the most part, we practice social distancing.

‘And we are allowed to show vacant properties and a lot of our listings of vacant houses and land. Hopefully, we’ll get more relaxed with measures as time goes by.’
Looking forward to when they potentially resume production, he added: ‘I think production will prevail in my opinion, especially in our business and how we do it.
‘There will be new rules when we’re doing showings. I think there will be more social distancing and a lot more sanitizing going on than we ever had before.’

He continued: ‘I imagined the crew would be wearing masks and protective gear.
‘But I think there’s, in my opinion, even reason to be optimistic about it. And I think there’ll be ways to work around situations. So I remain optimistic we’ll be fine even with the lasting changes into the longer term.’
And considering how the company worked around selling after the wildfires, we’re sure the show will be able to adapt just fine.
But he feels certain that the show can continue as normal if it gets renewed for a 13th season (Picture: Nicole Weingart/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank/Getty Images)
Speaking about how the wildfires impacted the current season, David stated: ‘The fires played a bit part with a particular story.
‘It was all so close to where I live and it heavily involved one of our clients. It was such a sad situation – and then we had coronavirus coming in at the end of the season – so everyone was just like, “Whoa, this is changing everything.”‘
