Paddy Doherty has paid tribute to two of his My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding co-stars who died in a suspected joint suicide in Kent.
The bodies of twins Billy and Joe Smith, 32, who appeared on the show’s third series, were found in a quiet country lane in Sevenoaks, Kent, on Saturday.
Paddy, 60, described the brothers as ‘angels’ and said their death was a ‘terrible tragedy’, in a video shared on his Facebook page.
He said: ‘Two good looking boys, God bless their souls. That’s a terrible, terrible tragedy.’
The Celebrity Big Brother star went on: ‘There’s always worse than yourself. Pray for the boys’ family, the boys’ mother and father, help them be strong and get through this.
‘I’m very, very sorry for your troubles. Anyone watching this please say a prayer for those left behind.’
He added: ‘May God look after them. They are two angels. They’re in the kingdom of heaven walking on gold.’
Billy and Joe featured in My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding’s third series when they were 24.
