Rick Edwards has reacted after Jameela Jamil slated her and her former T4 colleagues’ attitude on T4.
Earlier in the week, The Good Place actress didn’t hold back her feelings about her behaviour on the Channel 4 scheduling slot and also described her co-presenters ‘smug’ and ‘snide’.
‘I was a little d*** when I was on T4,’ Jameela said on Twitter. ‘That was our “thing” smug, snide, privileged hipster w***ers.
‘T4 was amazing for my career and I love so many people I met on it. But Christ I cringe at how we behaved and the things I said to “fit in” trying to be cool.’
Rick, who was a T4 presenter for four years, quote tweeted Jameela’s comment with the eyes emoji.
Oooo we can feel the tension.
T4 was a scheduling slot on Channel 4 and aired over the weekend and in the school holidays from 1998 to 2012.
In the early days, the show was presented by the likes of X Factor’s Dermot O’Leary, Good Morning Britain’s Ben Shephard, and Vernon Kay.
Rick landed a spot back in 2007, with Alex Zane also joining that year.
Alexa Chung joined the following year, with Jameela bagging a role in 2009 and going on to present until T4 ended in 2012.

At the time of T4’s axing, Channel 4’s Head of Formats, Dominic Bird said: ‘Whilst T4 has historically been a much loved destination for our young audiences, its popularity has been incrementally diminished over time by the digital revolution.
‘In a landscape where Channel 4 now provides E4, the nation’s most popular channel for 16 -34-year-olds, T4 has been fighting incredibly hard to maintain the cut through it once enjoyed, and now is the right time to look at more appropriate ways to serve our younger viewers.’
