Strap yourselves in guys, Ryan Reynolds has confirmed Deadpool 3 is being developed at Marvel Studios.
Everyone’s favourite foul-mouthed, lycra-loving mercenary is BACK.
‘We’re working on it right now with the whole team,’ Ryan revealed on talk show Live With Kelly & Ryan.
By the ‘whole team’, we’re assuming himself and Deadpool 1 and 2 writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
The 43-year-old actor added: ‘We’re over at Marvel, which is the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kind of crazy.’
Yes, Ryan, it IS kind of crazy because Deadpool 3 is the first of its franchise to be developed after the Disney-Fox merger of March 2019.
The move means X-Men characters like Deadpool and Wolverine could exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Let’s not beat about the bush.
Basically, what we’re hoping is for Wade Wilson to somehow team up with a bunch of Avengers in a post-Endgame world.

The ridiculously exciting news comes after Deadpool writers Rhett and Paul said they had the green light from Marvel to make more Deadpool films.
They told Entertainment Weekly in October: ‘Marvel has promised to continue to let us play in the R-rated Deadpool universe, and the hope is that they will also let us veer into the MCU a little bit as well and play in that sandbox.
‘Our feeling and Ryan’s feeling is that it’s got to be the right idea, it’s got to be great… I think once we collectively agree what idea that great idea is, we’ll be off to the races.’
All we ask is that the swear words never end and that Ryan gets shirtless at least once.
